Payment Options
There are several options for parking payment for the Pukuatua Carpark. These are as follows:
Casual Parking
People that use the carpark occasionally or visitors to the city can use the yellow payment machines on Levels 2 and 3 to pay for your parking. Key things to remember are:
• You must pay when you return to the carpark (before you drive out)
• The payment machines in the parking building only take credit/debit card payment
• Level 1 and most of Level 2 is for permit holders only. You cannot park in a “Permit parking only” area if you are paying casually (these areas are clearly marked).
• All day stays are cheaper than on-street parking in the core CBD. The parking building casual tariff is:

Corporate Options
Businesses that have 4 or more vehicles can make permit arrangements for carpark spaces directly with Rotorua Lakes Council. The Council will direct i-Park to give these vehicles access to the carpark. This option is available on a 6-monthly or annual basis, paid in advance. Time based permit options
These are the most cost-effective ways to pay for your parking. With this option you purchase the right to come and go as often as you like for the selected period. The options for this are:
Three month permit $252.00 equivalent to $4.00 per day
Two month permit $189.00 equivalent to $4.50 per day
One month permit $105.00 equivalent to $5.00 per day
Concession permit options
These allow you to pre-purchase a number of stays. Each entry / exit constitutes a stay. Where an entry and exit is separated by a day or more (overnight) then a stay is deducted at midnight each night. The options for these are:
60 Stay Permit $330.00 equivalent to $5.50 per day
30 Stay Permit $180.00 equivalent to $6.00 per day
